As summer continues so do my crafts!

This is my last project of the summer! I think. . . I decoupaged the mats already of course after this picture was taken. I'm going to put our wedding announcement and picture in the center frame and add pictures to the others from our trip back to Wyoming this summer.
Found this stick on our morning walks. Sealed it with clear spray paint, used the same fabric from my pantry curtains to tie in that theme.

This red frames were once gold. I got them for a wedding present and never used them because they didn't fit into our decor. Now they do! I want to get new pictures for these too! You could easily change the fabric as the seasons/holidays change too.

I always wanted cute bins for my laundry room but didn't want to pay an arm and leg for them. I found these at Wal-Mart for $3.00! Plus since being plastic I can wash them if anything gets spilled. Added the ribbon I chose for my pantry curtains and wall-la-CUTE!

Don't judge me I didn't straighten up my pantry before shooting this picture. I use Stitchery Witchery that you just iron to make the hems and hung it on a closet rod.

I make this BATH sign by taking chip board letters, painting the edges, adding cute scrapbook paper, sealing them with Mod Pouge, sanding the edges to make them distressed looking and then hung them using Velcro picture hangers.

I bought these hooks at Hobby Lobby for $1.20! They were blue and pink before I revamped them. I painted them, added new paper (thank goodness the hooks screwed off), and sanded.

I think I might want to change the paper. . . again.

I have had a key wall for a while now but it need a little eye popper added to it. I took some painters tape and created rectangles around the keys and then used my excess house paint ( two different colors) to fill them in. I'm still looking for a cute quote to put around it.

Revamped dollar store items!

I got these plaques at the dollar store too. Spray painted them to fit our bedroom, scrapbook paper, sanded, added some adhesive dots to the photos so I could easily change them.

These were just wood blocks from a craft store. I painted them, sanded the edges, and painted the letters. The blocks that spell faith are printed on the other side of the love blocks. The stars were wood stars from the craft store too with decoupaged paper on them. I really want a vinyl machine!

I bought these tiles at the dollar store. They are particle board and had funny sayings on them. I decoupaged cute paper on them, sanded the edges and hung them! Easy!

Pictures from August to December

I have tried to catch you up on what has been happening since our trip home in July. The end of July, beginning of August school started for me. I am teaching a 5th/6th gifted combination class and greatly enjoying my students. Bryan's golf season started to pick up the end of October and is now in full swing! We stayed here for Thanksgiving and joined our pastor's family for a day of touch football and turkey. This Christmas we stayed here again. Our hearts longed to go home but Bryan was needed here at PCC. We were once again blessed by all our family and the members of the PCC this year! Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy New Year!

Toys

This was Bolen's first Christmas and boy did it make it more exciting for Bryan and I! Bolen loved to play with the presents the days leading up to Christmas but Christmas day was different. The wrapping paper scared him, the boxes he loved, and he was back asleep by seven. Bryan and I enjoyed the morning by putting together Bo's gifts and playing with his toys- more than he did I think!

Praying while waiting. . .

Today Bryan and I took a walk with Bo and Buzz. It is a cooler Arizona day and made me miss home. We talked about how the weather reminded me of the weather during high school track. I told him about a friend I use to throw with that drew ink tattoos on us while we waited for our turn. We talked mostly about what we felt like the Lord was leading us to do in this new year. Should we put our house on the market, apply for different jobs, wait, pray. . . I walked away from the conversation feeling lonely and unsure about this new year. Our hearts want to move home but not if that's not the abundant life the Lord has planned for us. We know that wherever the Lord wants us is the best place but I wanted to know that yesterday. I want to know do I apply for a teaching job in another state, district, do we put our house on the market knowing it's going to take a God sized job to move us home without debt! Lord what do we do? I know we trust in You-completely but what do we do while we wait?

Welcome Home

Greetings all! Bolen and I arrived on Saturday morning and after a day of shopping in Billings we headed to Worland to meet the rest of our family! Here are a couple pictures from our adventures so far. Grandma and grandpa Bradshaw were so excited to see Bolen and have had their hands on him every minute we've been here! Great grandma Bradshaw was also proud to show him off at a church BBQ on Sunday. We'll continue to keep you posted with pictures from our trip.

Mother's Day Brunch

On Saturaday Bolen and I attended a Mother's Day Brunch at the First Baptist Church of Avondale. My friend Dana Johnson invited us to join her and others. We had an amazing time and Bolen even slept through the whole thing! What a angel!
